Raise your hand if organized momming is your jam! My hand is up! I think a lot of us don’t realize that our lives have become so unorganized and just kind of (dare I say the word)… chaotic. We jump into motherhood head first, which is a fabulous thing, but then at the end of the day, we’re exhausted from everything that comes from that job. So, we slowly start to put off doing things or just stuffing things in corners to kind of make it look clean. I know that’s what I used to do ALL THE TIME. Until one day, I couldn’t handle it. And I couldn’t handle my toddler cleaning up like that either! So we had to make a few changes a few years back. And we’re still changing up a few things every year to clean out and feel a little more put together in our home.
And the same thing goes for my diaper bags. The first day I get them, they’re gorgeous, and everything is in its place. Two weeks later, and I’m digging through all my junk to find a lip balm at the bottom of the bag. Raise your hand if this has been you! So, I’ve recently found the perfect solution. And we’re always on the go it seems (hence my cry for help for a routine with the new baby…I just can’t seem to make anything work). And this bag is the perfect solution for going from one place to another since there are so many little compartments. Organize it for your day…just like you do your day on a calendar. That’s how I have to think of it at least! I don’t know how I’d survive motherhood without being organized. The days that seem to frazzle me the most are those that just hit me quickly…the ones that I didn’t plan ahead of time.
I know you can’t know every single thing that’s going to happen during the day, but I always look at the next day the night before and lay things out. If we have preschool, I like to lay the girls outfits out, know what I’m going to throw on, and then have the diaper bag packed for a morning outing with just Winnie. So that means, an on the go breakfast for me, 2 diapers for her, 2 burp cloths, a bib, and a change of clothes for her (maybe a top for me…the girl spits up A LOT). So, I just make my way around the organizer with each of those things. I usually have wipes and a nursing cover in there all the time.

Another great thing about this bag is that you can wear it several different ways. I prefer mine like a back pack, but I’ve worn all of them. It’s super easy to transition to all of them. And since I need to wear Winnie a lot, I really need both of my hands free, and I also need a diaper bag with me at all times. This fits EASILY over a wrap (my fave right now are my Solly wraps) if that’s what you like to wear. It doesn’t slip down or feel awkward. I used to hate baby wearing and having to have a diaper bag on at the same time. I felt like a pack rat. I promise this one won’t feel like that! It has my baby wearing seal of approval (it counts for something, right?).
