Gift List for Women

Here’s a short list of shops I’ve been lucky enough to work with or lucky enough to stumble upon and fall in love with! I have the list for you first, just like with the children’s gift guide, and then some photos…

Sevenly – People Matter

When Sevenly first reached out to me to see if I’d like to collaborate with them, I researched what they stood for just like I do with every company that I work with. I want to make sure we mesh; that we vibe; that…

JJ Cole Bundleme

This past weekend, we went to a Christmas tree farm! Too early? Maybe for some…but we don’t actually go to get a tree. We go just to get in the Christmas spirit! Who doesn’t like to be around hundreds of trees?! And…

Plant Based Menu with Bob’s Red Mill

For me, Christmas is here. Like seriously. We’re putting our Christmas decorations up this Friday night. I have it scheduled in mine and Kevin’s synced calendar. It’s happening. If it’s warm, we may just have to blast the AC so we…

Why Beautycounter?

Why Beautycounter? Why did I start selling something? I didn’t have to. It’s not like I applied for a job, and sent in my resume. Why in the world would anyone join a direct sales company? It’s scammy. It’s fake. It…

The Price of Your Motherhood

What were you like before you had a child or started trying to get pregnant? I can distinctly remember being fun, flirty, and outgoing. I didn’t know what anxiety was like. My mom had told me she had struggled with anxiety some, and I…

Why Beautycounter?

Why Beautycounter? Why did I start selling something? I didn’t have to. It’s not like I applied for a job, and sent in my resume. Why in the world would anyone join a direct sales company? It’s scammy. It’s fake. It feels awkward. People are going to think that every time I talk to them, I’m going to ask them to buy something.Don’t tell me you haven’t had these thoughts in your head when you see your friends join a direct sales company. You know you try to skirt around certain situations…

mod-wood-co-wooden-signs-for-every-room

I’m still in heavy decorating mode here at the Williams’ household. We’re coming up on our year anniversary, and I wish I could say that we just redecorated everything within the first 6 months, but do you know how expensive decorating is?! Especially coming from a little townhouse in Baltimore to a much larger home in South Carolina. It takes a lot more furniture, curtains, and art to hang on the walls. I love creating fun spaces, though. And I love having fun pieces in those rooms so that it’s more than just a picture from the…

hearing-the-beat-with-sudio-sweden

We’re a music house. We’re always telling Alexa to play us something. Usually it’s Trolls, Frozen, or Moana, but sometimes Kevin and I get a say in what we get to put on for our “dance parties” with Hallen!I don’t have a huge music database stored in my head or on my computer, but let’s face it, music can control our mood, and it’s nice to turn on our favorite song to listen to when the moment is right. When I found Sudio Sweden headphones, I fell in love. I had looked for…

raising-a-village-with-kinbe

I recently had an amazing opportunity to partner with Kinbe to help spread the word of their great cause. Children have always had and always will have a soft spot in my heart. Maybe it’s because I’ve always known I was created to be a mother, or because we had trouble conceiving, or because we had a miscarriage…probably a little bit of all of that.I wish I could take in all the children that don’t have a home or have never experienced a loving mother or father. And I know a lot of us feel…

keepsake-animal-stitched-by-natalie

There are so many memories from when our precious babes are so tiny. I always wished I could bottle up those first few weeks. Everything was a learning experience. It’s pure exhaustion, and yet so tender and beautiful all at the same time. Growing  the tiniest love and then giving birth to it just takes living to a whole new level.  No matter how tired you are once that little baby comes home, those newborn days fly by even if in the moment it seems as if they’re standing still. Before you know it, they’re walking and…

What Makes You Smile?

what-makes-you-smile

Life is so hectic these days. Kids are no joke with how busy they make you! I definitely understand why people have always said “kids keep you young.” You’re constantly on your toes (literally and figuratively), and there are no two days alike.  If you’ve never been around toddlers, and think they’re just all goo, dirt, and button pushers, you’re wrong! They’re also incredibly hilarious! I started whitening my teeth with Smile Brilliant last month, and every time I pop my trays in to whiten my teeth, Hallen says, ” I like yo teefies. They…

why-cant-my-mustache-fall-out

The postpartum shed has started. Y’all… this is the worst part of “recovery” for me. It happened at the exact same time with Hallen too. So, I’m hoping it’ll stop at 6 months as well. I feel like my hairline recedes five inches. Why does pregnancy come with such terrible side effects? In my head, I think it should make you more beautiful. Like…if my hair is going to fall out, why can’t my mustache hair fall out instead? That’s the hair I really don’t want! Or the unruly eyebrow hairs..or my…

spit-up-with-a-side-of-guilt

Y’all..this week I leave to go on my first ever “momcation.” I never left Hallen for an extended period of time when she was a baby, because I just couldn’t leave her side, and well…she needed me! I felt guilty leaving her to go have fun. I felt guilty for not being there for a fun moment that she may have. I felt guilty for her few minutes of crying that would inevitably happen when I closed the door and said goodbye. I felt guilty before even making plans, so I just didn’t make plans…
