Welcome Gwenevere “Winnie” Mae

It’s been a month since little Winnie has been in our arms, and I honestly don’t know how it’s already been that long! After your first child, days, months, and weeks really are a big blur. Time goes quicker than that little…

Happiness is Homemade

Isn’t it though? You can create your happiness and joy. Your circumstances may be dim, but you can choose happiness. I know it’s a lot easier said than done, but that’s what we’re trying to teach our girls…and even ourselves…

Stay at Home Spring Break

I know a lot of you guys are still in the negatives up North and out West, but that doesn’t stop spring break daydreaming. We don’t have big plans for spring break since the girls are only in preschool, but they do&nbsp…

Creative Play with Shape Mags

Who tries to set some type of schedule for your kids while they’re at home? I’ve been trying to be more intentional this past year of having some type of plan to follow on the days the big girls don’t go to…

Disney Trip 2018

DISNEY!I’ve been so lazy in writing posts over the past couple months…okay really the past nine. I don’t know what it was about being pregnant, but I had a little less motivation to work during nap time. I wanted to zone…

When Your Mom Instinct Takes Over

My heart is still racing just typing this out. My mind is flowing with the what ifs and could have beens. This post won’t have any pretty photos and possibly not even thoughts that are strung together well, but it had to come out…

Seven.

It’s been seven whole years since we said “I do.” Some days it feels like just yesterday our love story began and others it feels like you’ve always been a part of me. I know that’s super cliché, but it is what…

I Am Enough

i-am-enough

I Am Enough. I think it’s something every single one of us struggles with. “Am I truly enough? I have a great job, amazing husband, beautiful children, friends, a home to live in, etc… but am I really enough?” Somehow that message gets hardwired in so many of our brains, because everyday we see someone else’s highlight reel while we feel like we don’t measure up. That mom over there can bake really well and all my desserts turn to soup (true story by the way). And another mom over there feeds her children only organic while…

hazels-first-birthday-rainbows-and-unicorns

Last week, I hinted at me trying to experience all the emotions of motherhood and trying not to become numb to some. All of the feelings of Hazel’s pregnancy were coming back at me full force since it was her birth week. And one of the first feelings I had when I found out I was pregnant with her was guilt. I had JUST had a miscarriage. I got pregnant two weeks after I had a DNC. Of course I wanted to be pregnant again. I wanted a baby. But…I wanted the baby I had lost. I wanted…

valentines-day-with-vilah-bloom

Happy Valentine’s Day to all my mamas out there, all the boss babes, and mothers to be! This Valentine’s post is all for you! Consider it a present to yourself. I don’t know about about every one of you, but for the past few years, Valentine’s Day includes our kids. And we usually say, “ohhhh don’t worry about doing gifts this year…we just had an anniversary..blah blah blah.” So, we don’t get gifts for each other. And it’s totally cool! I’d rather enjoy a quiet dinner together after the kiddos…

trendy-tots-tuesday-dapper-crown

Are you guys ready for some serious cuteness overload? I’ve found the most gorgeous, vintage/ school girl/ traditional clothing for your little girls at Dapper + Crown Clothing. They are tailored to fit your mini me perfectly. If you’re like me and like dressing your little girls in timeless pieces, these are calling your name. We received the Willow Dress and the Mackenna Dress.  And I couldn’t even say which one I like more, because they’re both so unique in their own way. Hallen was sold once she knew the Mackenna dress had pockets. I had to…

Donut Daze with Liv and Co.

donut-daze-with-liv-and-co

Well…It’s Hazel’s birthday week. Every post just might be about her this week. We’ll see! I’ll try not to get too overly emotional in my posts or go on a LIVE video bawling my eyes out. I thought I was going to be okay with her turning one. I mean…I’ve had one kid already have three birthdays, and obviously I’m still fine! The parties were fun, and it’s been exciting seeing her learn new things and grasp new concepts. But now, I realize what having a baby is…not just having…

Messy Motherhood

messy-motherhood

Don’t you love a cozy sweatshirt and finding a favorite tee? If you live in the PNW or are from there ( I’m not, and still love these 😜), I’ve found some really fun designs for you! Rainy State Threads is a small shop (you know how I love small shops)! And living in comfortable, cozy clothes is my life right now. Most of you young mamas are probably in the same stage as me. You want to be put together, but you need to be comfortable and really don’t have that much time to put into your…

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

valentines-day

Valentine’s Day is upon us! I recently got to try Divine Company Deodorant , which of course got me thinking about Valentine’s Day…who wants to stink around the love of their life, right?!😜 Kevin and I both got to try it (men’s and women’s). It’s a new natural product out on the market. Both of us gave it about a 7/10. It’s a spray deodorant, which isn’t really my thing. I just don’t like to feel wet, but the smell was nice! It’s a light fragrance. Both of us needed…

tots-tuesday-mommy-and-me-baby-wearing

This weekend, we really didn’t do much. I feel like since becoming a mom, it’s hard to remember what I did yesterday…or even this morning come to think of it. I hate that life becomes a blur when you’re trying to raise tiny humans, but it really does. I had a meeting Saturday morning with some fellow bloggers, which was a blast! I always love getting to know other local bloggers and following their work! After that finished up, we just made a family day out of it, exploring our little town just walking around.Hallen…
